Try pressing f8 on startup, then force computer to start in safe mode. Once in safe mode perform system restore from start/programs/acessory/system tools/

cheers

How to install windows 7 on aspire t650 desktop pc

Restart your computer during the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the delete or F2 key

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS then using the arrow keys scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

note this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system

note after you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to failsafe or optimised defaults

after windows has loaded

your computer will automatically restart it might restart 2 times one to finish the installation

the next will be because the operating system is loaded and will boot from your cd

I think you have bad memory. Try to press and hold F8 button while booting windows And run windos memory diagnostic
or you can do like this...

Running Windows Memory Diagnostic

To run Windows Memory Diagnostic, do the following:

  1. Click the Start button, type mem, and click on Windows Memory Diagnostic
  2. When the Windows Memory Diagnostic screen loads, click Restart now and check for problems

  3. You computer will restart

  4. The memory diagnostic will run and may take some time (or a ****-load of time depending on your patience!)

  5. Windows will restart and report any errors to you

How to restart hp pavillion 7965 desktop

Hi there. Try these steps:

1. On restart, press F8. This should bring you to a screen with various boot options.

2. Select "Last known good configuration". Windows then may load correctly.

3. If this doesn;t work, try the same thing. This time select "boot in Safe Mode". If Windows now loads in Safe Mode you should be able to restart and Windows may load correctly after this.

4. If these two both fail, you may have to repair Windows...

System restarts after booting into windows

This could be a number of things.
  1. A bad driver is being loaded when Windows starts. Most drivers are not loaded in safe mode so the problem won't happen there. If you have recently added any new hardware, then locate it in device manager and uninstall it.
  2. Bad memory can cause this. Windows running normally uses memore memory then it does in safe mode. If it hits a patch of bad memory while it is loading, then it can collapse instantly.
There are of course hundreds of things that can go wrong at any time..even brand new components can fail or cause issues.
Start with the 2 options above and see how you go.

Hope it helps =)

Windows booting problem

hi sunnyh, when you start up the PC start pressing the F8 key every 2 seconds. A dos like window will load. At the bottom of the list choose, last known good configuration. (win might load the last good configuration) it's worth the try.
If your PC still does not load windows than repeat the above, this time choose, Disable automatic restart on system failure.
This also might allow windows to load (hopefully).
A system that starts going into this restart loop happens for many different reasons. Most common reason was a program that was last installed just before PC was restarted. Second most common reason for restart loop. Added new hardware, bios changes & windows boot files corrupted. If you did install a program, uninstall it. If you were in your bios & made changes, reset the bios. If you flashed the bios, go back to the old bios version. If you added new hardware replace with older hardware.
To fix Windows you may have to reinstall it. Do not run format or you will loose all your data. Even system restore CD's allow for a win reinstall without a format, however if the cd does not allow you to reinstall win unless you do a format. Than windows startup files are too screwed up & you'll have no choice but to format.

All you can do is try the above & cross your fingers.

Good luck!
Mike

Turn on computer sometimes it goes into Windows sometimes it doesnt

Right Click My Computer, Click Properties.
Click Advanced
Click Settings
Uncheck "Automatically Restart"

This will allow you to see the message that caused the restart.

Sounds like its memory, or the mainboard.
