Canon 1008 D paper won't feed

When I press "paper feed" it feeds but when I am calculating, it barely inches the paper up. I've cleaned with canned air and used alcohol swabs on the rollers that feed the paper Any ideas on what else to do?

I've had this problem for a couple of months and gone through multiple rolls of paper but...In addition to what I mentioned I had already tried, I've since used wd-40 on roller/gears and replaced the paper. As a preventive measure, I followed marsrover's advice and took a straw (as it is flexible and thin enough to go through the paper feed mechanism) and made sure there weren't any objects inside. It's been working well for a week now and is working fine now. Thanks for the help!

I've tried all kinds of things, including re-installing the printer driver.
As a last ditch effort, I tried the old 'turn it off and turn it on' trick.
That worked for me.

How do you load the paper on this adding machine?

    • 1 Cut the beginning of the roll of paper at a 45-degree angle with the scissors for better feeding into the Canon P23-DH V.
    • 2 Lift the paper arm up and slide the roll onto the paper arm. The cut edge of the paper should be feeding down from the outside of the roll.
    • 3 Insert the cut edge of the paper into the small **** at the back of the calculator.
    • 4 Press the feed button in the upper left area of the calculator's keyboard to feed the paper roll up through the calculator.

I do not know how to put the tape into the calculator. There is a place in the back that it looks like it should go - I put it in there, press the advance paper key and nothing happens.

Push the roll of paper in until it will go in no further. On mine, it goes a bit more than a quarter of an inch. Once the paper is in all the way, press the Feed button until it shows at the top.

If it is still not feeding through, you may have a jam somewhere. Take the top of the paper area off and manually inspect the area to make sure nothing is out of place.

If you are still having problems, try feeding the paper in without the cover on. You can watch to see what is stopping it.

Ativa AT-P500 calculator; how do I put feed paper into it? Is there a manual for this?

I have the same problem (no manual) but solved it: the port of entry for the paper feed in located on the back, near the bottom. The top piece (where you tear the paper off) moves slightly to the back and can be removed. Feed the paper into the machine; pull out a few inches asnd cut the edges of the paper, about two inches back, into a "V" and feed this point into the slot just below the "ridge" and press "feed". Problem solved!

How do you load paper into a canon p23-dh v

For loading paper into canon p23-dh v is to cut a piece of index card to the length of 3 inches and to the width of the paper you want to load. Tape evenly to the end of the paper roll and put into the ****, pushing gently in and at the same time pressing the 'Feed" button. It will immediately feed since it is firmer than the Poat-it paper.

I have a borrowed Casio FR 105S printing calculator. How do I load the paper?

Make sure the paper has a straight clean edge. Feed the paper into the slot in the back - make sure the paper is straight. Paper will go in about 1/4 inch. Push the feed button and the paper should feed through the printer.

How do I install adding machine paper roll

Slide off the upper cover of the calculator, and cut across the paper roll to form a clean end.
If you are mounting the roll externally (outside of the back of the calculator), then look for a slot in the rear of the calculator, which will accept the paper. Feed the end of the paper through the rear slot, and then into the internal feed slot, and hold the [FEED] key. After that, you can flip the arm back to mount the roll and replace the upper cover.
If you want to place the roll inside of the calculator, then you need to feed from the bottom of the roll into the internal feed slot, and hold the [FEED] key. After you are finished, replace the upper cover.

There should be a small slot in the rear, gently feed the end into it while pressing the paper feed/advance button.
