Adding toner; how do you know all the toner is out of the cylinde

I am adding toner. The toner cylinder is upside down on the the machine and I have been tap, tap, tapping forever, but I THINK there is a lot of toner left in the cylinder. I can't see through the cylinder to see how much toner is left in there. Is there a trick to this?????

Slid the part thats sticking out the right side this should close the bottle then gently remove the boittle
you will see there are two hook looking tabs on either side or the toner unit (on the machine) press them both together and then the tab will release on the right pull on it to the right and you will be able to see the toner level inside the unit (caution you will get dirty doing this and might want to have a few rags to clean up with)

I had a jam, upon clearing the jam, the printer will hang with the motor turning, and the display saing 'adding toner'. I changed the (new) toner, for a brand new one. Still message will not go away.

Leave the machine working to see the next message of Adding Toner. Usually the next message of "Adding Toner" is "Ready to Copy".
If the next message is "Add Toner", i suggest you to pull the new toner kit out and push it a little bit harder and check again.
If you power the machine off and on again, can you see what the message about toner is, Original or Unknown Toner is installed?

How do I bleed a slave cylinder to a 93 Cheverlet 1500 series 4 wheel drive truck

Much like bleeding brakes. There's a bleed screw on the cylinder. Have a helper push the clutch pedal down while you release air form the bleeder screw. Watch the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder. You can get 2 good pushes on the clutch pedal before adding more fluid.

Kyocera FS-2020D adding toner screen will not shut off

It is normal to do this "adding toner" operation aprox. 20 minutes. You have to wait until the printer enters in "ready" status. Take a little brake and relax, your printer needs to refill the developer unit with toner dust from the cartridge.

Dust on drum

Open the front of the machine. The drum is part of the toner cartridge.

Turn the cartridge upside down. Look at the long cylinder, it should have NO toner dust on it. If it does, the cartridge is bad and must be replaced.

Have you tried a New Drum Cartridge?
It sounds like the drum cartridge is bad. Do you know how old the drum cartridge is or how many copies are on it?
If you take the drum cartridge out (Do not tip this upside down or touch the drum) you should be able to see a shiny long cylinder called the drum underneat the unit. Does it look like its covered with toner?
If it is covered with toner, then the cartridge needs to be replaced and that will take care of your problem with the dark copies.
If its not covered, then it could be a dirty optics which would require for your machine to be serviced. But 99 out of 100 times its the drum cartridge.

Hope this helps.
good luck.

Cyan Toner always prints faded.

It is the developer. All colours should be changed at the same time. This can be accessed via the right hand side of the machine, when you remove the cover. (where the output tray is)
