Question about WiFlyer - Portable, shareable WiFi base station for dialup and broadband Internet connections (WF1)
I have recently received a wireless router wich i have connected and setup. the message in the bottom right hand corner of the computer says that the wireless connection is connected. however when i try to connect to the internet it says that the server cannot be found. i have checked with my provider and there is no problems in the area and they have suggested that i contact HP. Any advice pls
The signal indicator only tells you that you are connected to the router. You need to make sure that your router is connecting to the internet. go to it's configuration page by browsing to http://192.168.0.1 (note that this address is correct for many routers but not all, check the manual to be sure) find the tests or diagnostic section and run the connection test.
