Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer
First turn the breaker off and on and try to start it. The breaker could be half tripped. If it doesn't there is a thermal fuse on the back. Unplug the cord. Take off the back cover (9) screws. On the exhaust housing there is a white oblong thermal fuse, at about a 45 degree angle, with 2 wires, held in by a screw, part number 3392519, ( about $14.99). Take the wires off and ohm the fuse, it should have continuity. Or you can take the wires off and hook them together (to bypass the fuse), Plug the dryer back in, try to start it. If it starts replace the thermal fuse.
