You can try a number of different solutions which have worked for some people:

Solution 1
Clear your cache and delete all of your cookies in your browser.

Solution 2
In your browser, type in the address bar http://www.facebook.com/login (which doesnt exist)
This will take you to a different login page which reads: "The page you requested was not found."
At the top of this page is a login box. Try using this login box to login to facebook.
.
Solution 3.
Download Firefox 3.5 and used that instead of Internet Explorer.
here is the link for downloading it
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
.
Tip: If you are using the Adblock extension with Firefox, and subscribe to an ad list (basically a list of known ads online), it blocks a special site (fbcdn.net)
that Facebook uses to login.
.
Tip: Go to: http://www.facebook.com/login.php (the page you are having trouble logging in) and click on the
Adblock Stop Sign on top of Firefox, and you will see in red a url that includes
fbcdn.net. Right click on that, and add an exception for the entire fbcdn.net domain.
Reload the page. This should fix the problem.
.
Solution 4.
Use a Proxy Server to connect to Facebook.com
1. Search Proxy in GOOGLE
2. Select Proxy Server
3. Type in facebook.com (in the proxy server webpage)
4. login into facebook account
5. (although all games will work but Farmville may have problems loading)
.
recommended Proxy Server >http://www.youtubeproxy.ws/
.
If you found this information helpful, please give me a big thumbs up when you rate my answer. Thanks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can't get to Facebook login, has worked fine for years. Message says "Secure Connection Failed"

Well the problem is in that for some reason your browser can't jive with the ssl that Facebook is using. This could be due to a problematic upgrade of Firefox, or that Facebook changed something. As a test you might want to install Chrome and see what happens.

I get a SSL Error message that prevents me from logging into Facebook.com from Safari. How do I fix?

First check if you can open other sites with https prefixed website(like https://www.google.co.in/ )
then if you see same error follow
First check your clock time on your computer/device.
if it is not set to current time set it to live time error should be solved.
Otherwise
Add facebook ssl page to exception list in privacy settings

I cant open facebook

I know how frustrating this could be for you for not being able to open your facebook.

But don't worry i will help you with this.

I had the same problem, not being able to get to my profile using Firefox. I fixed it by going to Tools --> Options --> Content --> Block pop-up windows: Exceptions --> enter www.facebook.com and hit Allow.
Then you will be fine.

How can I solve the google ssl connection error no. 107? It occured when I try to open gmail in google chrome and even in Internet explorer (microsoft).

Go to your Chrome options that is the small spanner on the top right and select Under the hood from the Menu. Then make sure the Use SSL 2.0 Radio Button is Checked and you will not see this error message Again. You could also Disable DNS Prefetching and clear your Cache to be sure you are Viewing the Current Page.

You probably have a virus that has hijacked your browser. Try running a virus scanner.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.insightbb.com', Server: 'mail.insightbb.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

You can also receive this error message when you have antivirus e-mail protection or personal firewall software enabled on your computer.
Try disabling the antivirus program through msconfig or close the antivirus program and see if you get the same error again, if not then disable email scanning and this will help you.

Setting up existing e-mail onto new pc.

wel smtp is your outgoing mail provider.

example.

email account kpn
internet account kpn

correct settings:
pop.kpn.nl
smtp.kpn.nl

email account kpn
internet acount xs4all.

this is the correct settings:

pop.kpn.nl with correct username and password
smtp.xs4all.nl

as you see you have to take the smtp address of your internet ADSL provider.

good luck.
