Problem with Printers

HP 9800 Deskjet Repair

My HP 9800 Deskjet will not accept the replacement of the black cartridge, even if the light for the black cartridge blinks it will still print. I have a back up and it is not the cartridge since it works in the back up with out issue. How can I get this printer repaired since I need it as a second printer

This happened to me and it was such a simple fix, I forgot to pull off the tab at the bottom of the cartridge. I hope this is your problem also.

    • This printer has a design flaw that means if the ink cartridge is incorrectly inserted you can puncture the flexible circuit board behind the cartridges with the spring unit. You will have to order an entirely new carriage unit (that includes the circuit board!)
