Question about ASUS P4PE2-X Motherboard
I cannot play a sound
Hello my friend first make sure that your hardware is been recognized and there is not any problem with driver or hardware.To do this go to device manager
1. Right-click My Computer then select Properties
2. Select the Hardware tab
3. Click the Device Manager button
Alternative option: Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc -> OK
After you have open device manager check on sound,video and game controllers for your sound card,if is not having a yellow ! in front of its name and if you open it (double click) and on the device status says "This device is working properly" then your are OK and we are going to check the settings.If its not OK it means that you didn't install the right drivers so you can go HERE and select your operating system and download your drivers
