Then I ran Ekiga, and I changed its setting to V4L2, my web cam's green light turns on but the screen of Ekiga only shows a green screen as output.

Go to Edit > Preferences, and under the video settings set your webcam to use v4l2 and report back here with your results.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My acer crystal webcam is not working

Right click My Computer and select Properties. Click on the Hardware tab, then click on Device Manager. Expand out the Imaging devices. If Acer Crystal Eye webcam is not listed, proceed to Acer's website to download the drivers for the webcam specific to your Acer's make/model.

If Acer Crystal Eye webcam is listed, double click on the Acer Crystal Eye webcam listing. This opens a properties box. Check that the Device usage is set to "Use this device (enable)." Select the Driver tab to check on the driver's status. Choose to update the driver. This might fix it. If not, return to the General tab and click the Troubleshoot button.
