I understand about rca cables it's the green plug cable that I don't know where to put it. It doesn't fit anywhere.

RCA refer to the type of plug, the color code is for visual reference:
In standard video in/out:
Red: Left audio channel
White: Right audio channel
Yellow: Composite Videos

YPBPR Analog Composite video:
Yellow (Luma)
Blue (Blue Difference)
Red (Red Difference)

Orange is used for Digital S/PDIF audio.

What is Bose 321 gsx video format?

The video formats are:

composite video (yellow phono/RCA) - 480i/576i [NTSC and PAL, respectively]

S-video video (black 4 pin din) - 480i/576i [NTSC and PAL, respectively]

Component (3x phono/RCA - Green Blue Red) - 480p NTSC only. Applies just to the DVD player output.

The 3-2-1 system has a couple of composite inputs, one s-video input, no (0) Component inputs. It has 1x composite output, 1x S-video output, 1x Component output.

The Bose system has very basic video handling capabilities. It will only pass through a signal in the same format as it is received. So, a composite signal in requires that the TV or display is hooked up with composite too. IOW, it won't up convert composite or S-video to component.

Can not get my memorex dvd player mvd2047 to work with my rca j25420 tv

I believe this question is posted twice! I'll just answer it twice I guess! :) You are more than likely gonna need a composite cable (also known as rca cables) Yellow is video, white, and red are audio. Match the colors up on the dvd player, and do the same on the back of your tv. Put the yellow where it says video there may be a Y. Red, and white go to left, and right audio. Good luck! Hope this helps!

How to hookup my memorex dvd player mvd2047 to rca j25240 tv

You will need either composite cables (yellow, red, white) if capable component cables (red, blue, green) or if capable a HDMI cable. What colors do you see on the back of your dvd player?

Black and white screen , cant get out of it

Hi Debbi,
Please check whether you have connected your tv video cable (normally Yelllow colour RCA Pin) to component "Y " in the dvd box.. If yes, remove it and connect it to Composite out Yellow RCA female connector for Coloured output. If you connect to "Y" it wl give only Black and White in component ( Y Pr Pb )

We need to connect a wii and a dvd player up to our 32 in Emerson? Unsure of which jacks to use?

First, you must figure out If your TV has component video inputs. This is a set of five cables (red, blue and green for video and red and white for audio) and will give you the best picture on an hdtv

Then, If your TV does not have the component video cables, you will be using the red white and yellow composite yellows the system came with. A very simple connection.

Last, If your TV does have the component video inputs, you will need to buy a set of the Nintendo Wii Component Video cables from Walmart, Target or any other gaming store. These will enable widescreen view and the best picture quality.

To connect your DVD player, you need to located the composite video inputs and s-video. Composite video is a yellow, female RCA jack, normally found next to two audio jacks, one red, the other white. The three jacks together provide an interface for audiovisual connections. The red RCA jack connects the right channel of a stereo system, while the white RCA jack connects the left. The yellow composite video jack rounds out the set.

When playing the Wii, you will need to be on the correct video input "Component"

When playing the DVD, you will be on "Composite/Svideo."

What are the red yellow and white cords for i have a xbox

The side with 3 RCA jacks, red, white, and yellow, is for connecting the USB to a composite video cable. The black connects to an S-video cable; you would still use the red and white plugs to carry the audio. At least the older XBox's had composite video outputs; you just need the composite video cable (which you may have as they came with many video devices (VCRs, DVD players, video cameras).)

If you need to connect this Video capture device to another type of output, you will need a converter. Component to composite video would be one option. However, you will have signal loss with any converter.

I hope this helps.

How do i connect my dvd rv32 to my sony tv?

It will depend on your TV's inputs. The included cable is a composite A/V cable. This will work. Match the RCA plugs on each device (yellow to video out on the DVD player, video in on the TV; white and red audio go similarly). Alternatively, you can get and use an S-video cable.

For a better picture if your TV has Component video, get a Component video cable (this has three RCA jacks colored red, green and blue on each end) and then use that. You can get a separate audio cable that only has the red/white RCA jacks (or use the composite video with the yellow video jacks dangling).

If your TV doesn't have Composite video inputs, you need a RF modulator (Composite to RF converter). These are available at many sites, including Radio Shack.

I hope this helps.
