I have a Sony projection TV pk61s75. the TV turns on and all you get is sound no picture. This started about 2 weeks the picture would come on and then after an hour the picture would go off, sometimes it would reset if you turn off and on again. Two years ago I had the fly back transformer replaced for the same reason. the red light would flash five times in rappid succession, than pause and do it again every time

5 flashes is current to cathode detection (IK). this can be caused by a bad focus block, bad driver ICs on the CRT board or the CRTs them selves. I would start with the focus block they have been known to go bad (leak voltage). have a tech replace them because G2 is a critcal adjustment.

My sony kdf e50 12u wont turn on red light blinks twice

Your TV is giving you a code, something is faulty in the system, usually 2 blinks of the red light indicates, Load on power line is shorted. I also would check the bulb also to make sure it doesn't need replacing.

Green flashing light and tv wont come on

Count the number of times the light flashes. After you know that, Google your make and model number with blink codes added to the end. This will take you to sites that will tell you what the blink code on your tv means. The blink code is a self diagnostis performed by your set to tell service where to start with repairs.

Please help with tv! green blinking light wont stop and tv wont turn on

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
please post your error code
