Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

1 Answer

Initially, on turn on, the screen would flick white and keep flicking white until its turned off. Normally after waiting a few hours, seems to work OK, but now, it won't even turn on/power up even if fully charged or with power attached

Tv and ps3 plugged in and on. av channel shows an empty screen

Follow these steps to resolve your problem:

1. Turn off the PS3 so it only shows a red light. You can hold the power button on the front until it goes into standby. To be sure, flick the power switch on the back of the Play Station 3 off and then back on.

2. Make sure your Play Station 3 is connected to your regular TV (not HDTV) with the standard video cables.

3. Press and hold the power button until the screen "flickers" and then immediately release. This should reset the video settings.

4. Wait a few seconds, and the Play Station 3 (PS3) logo should appear.

If this does not resolve the problem, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the PS3 so it only shows a red light. You can hold the power button on the front until it goes into standby. To be sure, flick the power switch on the back of the Play Station 3 off and then back on.

After pressing the 'coffee' button, a lot of noise but no coffee!!

this happens to me when i get air in the line that pulls the water out of the tank (i.e. you forgot to fill it up every now and then). you fill up the tank, wash you hands really well (don't want soap or germ in tank), partially put tank into machine and submerge the tube. then with your index finger flick the screen covered tip until no more air comes out. then, push the tank all the way back with the tube submerging all the way to the bottom. turn machine, push steamer butten, and turn knob to turn on steam for a few minutes to remove any remaining air in the tube. then, turn off machine, unpush the steamer (takes too long if machine on and unpush it for the espresso icon to light up so i just shut it off to reset it), turn on machine, wait for espresso icon to turn on, and then press button. voila. problem solved. i find the finger flicking step key b/c takes forever to purge a line full of air just using the steamer step.

I have a Philips 50" Flat HDTV model 50PF9431D/37. Problem with screen turning on. I get sound. I get 9 quick flashes in red. Then after unplugging and plugging back in several times. It then blinks...

I have the exact same problem! I have it hooked up to a power strip now to unplug it by flicking of the power strip and waiting for the red light to go out then I turn it back on while Channeling up 10 X's and then down and up until it comes on. I listen to the sound of the switch which it comes on. I turn it off if it is faint and then back on and channel up. Crazy process but it's been working. It takes about 10 minutes everytime to get the TV on until I get a tech to come out and look at it. The capacitor keeps a charge which is why the light is flashing with a code for 60 seconds./JJ
