The MB listed is an ASUS P5PE-VM, that maximum memory is 2GB of DDR memory PC3200 or lower. If your board is indeed a Biostar, clarify the model number. Good luck!

You need to get the model number before you can do a google search for the manual in order to get further details on max memory it can take.

Why does memory upgrade for biostar k8m800-mam2 motherboard cause memory error beeps?

I would verify that the memory you're using is actually working properly.
Try to boot to the new stick and see if it works.
If not, it doesn't work.
If it does, you may need to replace the original stick with the same stick that you are trying to use now.

    I NEED RAM

    Hi zouganeli,

You can install one, two or three modules. Each memory module can hold a maximum capacity of 128 MB of standard SDRAM chips, or 256 MB of registered SDRAM chips so maximum memory capacity is 384 MB of standard SDRAM memory or 768 MB registered SDRAM memory.

    Hope that helps

    Take care,

    Michael
