Question about Sharp CD-BA200 CD Shelf System
I bought a pair of second hand speakers. Sharp model no. CP-BP2000. They have two double wires coming out of the back, top ones blue/black and bottom ones red/black. How do I connect these to an amp?

You have probably connected it using video only HDMI cable(its called DVI). You may want to get a HDMI connector so that you can obtain sound as well. Your brother was probably using external speakers along with the DVI cable.

Which is it 9860 or 9800? (No web search hits for the 9800).
The RCA jacks on any amp so-equipped are for any external Line Level source like a tuner.
In any 'connection' question there are at least two participants and specific answers require specific details about all joined equipment.
Type carefully if you want good answers.
