i fthe computer do not allow you to access the yahoo messenger try to stay on line on the web version of the yahoo messenger ..This is just a web page and I think they do not thought to restrict it ..

(it is about the same and even allow to keep archives ...its just a little simplified ..)

By the way ..the reason you can not log from the computer directly ..is probably cause you do not have an administrator account ..and the program is firewall-ed or something like that ..

I have installed yahoo messenger version 9. But I can not log-in. There was a error message popping up ' messenger encountered a connection problem....81003004. ple, help me to resolve this problem.

Check in your Firewall Settings, whether you have given access to Yahoo Messenger or not. Check if Yahoo Messenger been blocked by your system's Firewall.
