Question about HP OmniBook 6000 Notebook

Sound problem My laptop HP omni book 6000 make some gurrrrrr sound after playing some music. But if I switch on the mut option,it stops for a while and again creating the same problem..pls say some suggestions/solutions

Have you looked at the sound mixer to see if the wav/cd volumes are too high?

Hello, I can't get sound to my laptop. when I go into the sound controls it's set for Internal but doesn't give me the option to change it?


Check the Sound driver in Device Manager.
Obtain and install the update Sound driver from drivers page.

Open www.hp.com type the product number (eg: AB123UA) in the search field >> Software and Drivers >> Select OS >> Audio driver and isntall it. Restart.

Next...
Restart Audi service
1. Windows key+R. services.msc and press enter.
2. In the right pane, double click on Windows Audi.
3. Stop and then Start. Select Startuptype: Automatic.
4. Apply | Ok.

Next...
Connect an external headphone and check for sound, if working.....
Connect External Headphone.
Play some musich and as soon as the Music starts
Removet he headphone with a slight ****. Check if sound coming from Speaker.

this may be a h/w failure. go to bios and run the hdd test from the diagnostic option. if it says no ide device found, reseat the hdd and turn it back on. if its still the same. replace ur hdd.

HP DV600 laptop doesn't turn on even on mains.


It sounds like your ac adapter has died, and thus is not charging the battery back up. Test the adapter for power output. If it isn't working, the only option is to purchase another.

Hello

Depending on your operating system and what you'e doing with it, this could normal. If you're using the wireless network with XP then the icon on the task bar will have a red X through it and it will say that the network cable is unplugged. This is normal. I hope this helps, if not email me.

kindly check your window player option for this problem.... plz select normal video speed and sound control....

Problem in sound driver


hi you may want to try updating your windows media player via the microsoft update website, it should come under optional updates. hope this helps
