Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Network disconnected

First thing is to contact your provider to inquire about a possible outage .
If your networks disconnected I'd recommend checking first to make sure all connections are intact If you have a modem and router check those connections too Sometimes if there's a power outage they can go hey wire (I just experienced that yesterday) if there's power going to them (most have indicator lights) try the reset button on back if they have one If not try unplugging for a couple minutes
Frustrating for sure but maybe this will help you Good Luck

Recently Facebook has experienced connection problems with some internet service providers (example CLEAR, ATT, etc) You can sometimes view messages, and old news feed items, but it will not refresh and you cannot reply to messages. Does this sound right?

The outage started Nov 26th and is not yet resolved as of Dec 1st. The outage is also noticeable with other websites such as Craig's list and some parts of yahoo. If you are having trouble accessing news feeds on any of these sites the issue is probably not with your phone. It is the host server that connects to your internet service provider (or phone company in your case)

Therefore it is not something that you will be able to fix. There are several outages currently affecting over 100 different websites right now. Users in the Central and Western US will be affected most as well as parts of Europe. There is a 60% chance it is affecting you if you are in one of these areas.

Best course of action is to contact your internet service provider and let them know what sites you cannot access, then ask if they know how long the outage will last.

You can also try connecting using a different ISP and see if it works. The T-Mobile network still has access for example.

My denon AVR 1913 will not connect to the internet/network as set up connected to the router. there was no problem with this one week ago, but following a power outage last night, i cannot connect to the...

Sounds like you have given it a good shot. Hopefully the power outage did not 'brown out' which causes damage to some devices. Here is what I would do. With everything connected and powered up, do a hard reset of your modem/router by pressing the recessed button for 10 secs or so. Then log on and re-enter you user name and password and allow DHCP to find all the connected devices. Reserve addresses if you want to. This has worked for me when I had a similar problem. Good luck!

Power outage unable to connect wirelessly e1000

Make sure power is back up. Check both ISP modem and router indicator lights are normal. Test ISP connection with cable. If all is still OK then use the reset button in the back of the router.

FYI - ISP modem might also have a reset. I had to this for TV even though everything said OK.

From what I am understanding you are having issues connection to the Internet after your power outage. If this is the case you would need to power cycle everything,

Start by shutting down the pc from the start menu.

Remove the power from your router and modem,

You will need to wait 30 seconds before you can plug the modem back in, once all lights appear on your modem replace the power to your router.

Once all the lights on the router appear...Power the pc on. This should resolve your issue.

Internet light does not light up - was working until an outage at the exchange. Outage nnow repaired but light not on and no connection.

Hi,

If you're saying that the outage is now repaired what you can do is to power cycle the modem and wait until the internet light lit up. If not try to report it to your ISP so that they can investigate on it.

Thanks for using Fixya.
