Question about HP w1907 LCD Monitor

Osd problem in my pc monitor(17'' viewsonic) automaticaaly it will shows osd lock messege and screen adjesting menu what is the problem please help me

Try turning the power off, press down the contrast and britness setting bottons and turn the monitor back on and release the buttons.

Next if that dosent work try holding the menu button down until you get osd unlocked come up.

    Sorry i missed one, power the monitor on and hold the power button for about 10-20 secs.

The OSD can be enabled or disabled by pressing and holding the Menu button on the front panel for 10 seconds. If the OSD is locked, the warning message OSD Lock displays for ten seconds.

* If the OSD is locked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to unlock the OSD.
* If the OSD is unlocked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to lock the OSD.

OSD Lock


OSD lock is a feature which locks the OSD. It can be enabled or disabled by pressing the menu button for 10 sec. It is the lock which locks the On Screen Menu for changing the menu settings.
To unlock press and hold the menu button for 10 sec.

When i on the PC this message appears on the screen :OSD LOCK. the type of the monitor i am using is ViewSonic E70f 17" CRT...

At the centre of my viewsonic monitor model:E70fB a message in blue coloured box that"osd lock"and its blinking continously its irritating me


Please try to Turn the monitor off. Hold down the Menu button while the monitor is turned off, then press the Power button again to turn the monitor back on. This might unlock your OSD menu and remove that message from your screen. regards
