It is possible that one or both outputs have gone d.c.. try disconnecting both speakers and check across left and right output terminals with a d.c.voltmeter set to 100 volts. no d.c. volts should be present

HOW DO I REMOVED PROTECTION APPEARS TO MY DENON AVC-A1? THANKS....

I'd assume that the speakers are hooked up incorrectly and thus causing a protection circuit to happen.
Test two good speakers, on each pair front/l/r and rear/l/r

Having a problem...when I leave my computer for a length of time it returns to the log on screen, but becomes frozen. I can't turn it off from the front button. Must unplug then reboot...this has just...

There are two ways to do it.
1) when the logon screen appears, enter your password (if no, just press enter), you will be back where when you leave.

2) set the screen protection off by: clicking right mouse button on the desktop -> screen protection -->in screen protection box select none --- OK. Then, no logon screen will appear.

Try it.

My yamaha receiver shuts down when I turn it up.

If you have bare wire going into the receiver's output terminals, make sure a strand or two of wire is not touching the other terminal. That can short out the outputs, especially when you turn up the volume, which increases the voltage present at those terminals. That would cause the receiver to shut down as a saftey precaution.

After my 70" tv is on for a period of time, it turns off and won't come back on for a while.

Good Day, Connie ss;
The next time the TV turns off try this:
This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input/device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. MAY BE INTERMITTENT, SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK SOLDER CONNECTIONS AT CONNECTOR "DY" ON THE YOKES. 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK C411 2200 UFD 35 V AND C412 10 UFD 50 V, BOTH LOCATED ON THE MAIN PCB. I hope this was helpful, good luck, big IRISH.

Error E3 on Mitsubishi HS-U795

Try this :
If your VCR malfunctions, try the following steps prior to contacting your Mitsubishi Dealer:
1 Check the Trouble Checks below to see if there is a solution to the current problem that you are
experiencing.
2 If the problem is not addressed on the Trouble Checks, the safety circuits in the VCR may be in
operation, thus please try the following: (the clock setting and the timer recording will be deleted.)
1 If possible, press EJECT on the front panel and remove the tape.
2 Press TIMER RESET on the rear panel with a pencil or a ball point pen.
3 If a tape is not loaded, press POWER to turn the power on. If a tape is loaded, wait about 1 minute
until the tape protecting function is completed, then press POWER.
3 You may also try the following procedure if the above steps did not resolve the problem (All settings will
be reset to the default settings.).
1 Press POWER on the front panel continuously for about 8 seconds until the current time display on
the front panel shows "- : - -."
2 If a tape is not loaded, press POWER to turn the power on. If a tape is loaded, the tape protecting
function will work and "99" will appear on the front panel display to begin count down. Wait about 1
minute until it reaches "00" to show the tape protecting function is completed, then press POWER.
If the problem with your VCR persists, contact your Mitsubishi dealer for assistance.

Im looking for error codes.

Protect

When "protect" appears on the front panel display, it means that the speaker protection circuit is in function. Visually check all your speaker connections at the back of the unit and at the back of each speaker as well. Make sure none of them are shorting out. If that is not the problem, turn off the unit, disconnect all speakers, turn unit on and verify that problem is gone. If gone, one of your speakers or wires are defective. If problem persists, the DAV-C450 internal circuitry might be in need of service. Never connect or disconnect speakers with the unit powered on. Hope this helps.
