Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
You may clean your print heads automatically or manually. to automatically clean you go to your print menu (ctrl P) and click on properties. Then go to the services tab and you will see the clean heads button. Click on it and the clean process will commence. You may need to repeat the procedure to get good results. To manually you bring out your ink cartridge and place the nozzle in little amount of water for say 5 to 10 mins. Bring it out and dab the nozzle with folded tissue paper. if you get a good blot of ink, you have successfully cleaned it. manual is used for stubborn cases.

Replace the cartridges.
Otherwise, it's unorthodox, but some users have found that this works in your situation. Remove the cartridge, cover the nozzle with a paper towel and use the pointed attachment of a vacuum to clean the dry ink from the cartridge. Be careful not to get ink all over. Then reseat the cartridge and print...

Please remove the cartridges from the printer. Take a dry lint free paper towel and gently wipe the contacts on the back of the cartridge (not the bottom from where ink is present). Wipe the contacts inside the printer (on cartridge carrier). Please snap the cartridges back into the cartridge carrier and please try to print a printer self test.

The problem is waste ink around head sprayer (at (bottom plate of head). Turn of printer. Move head to center. Put wet tissue (with hot water) at head cleaning mechanic pad. Move head to parking position. wait till 10 minutes. check it. You can repeat 3 times.
