Since it is dropped there is a strong chance that it might be F.. But. Here are the steps for no power problems: 1. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera. Please make sure that you are installing a fresh/ fully charged battery c. Turn the camera on. 2. Without the memory card, turn your camera on. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty) 3. Please test with the a different battery If you do not have access to another battery Try these steps instead: Please take the battery out of the camera. b. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the battery. If you camera doesn?t switch on you will need to order a no power repair with KODAK or a new cable.

If you dropped the camera, all the batteries in the world are not going to help !!!!! It needs to be repaired or replaced which ever is cheaper.

Hello my name is ashley, i have a question about my nikon coolpix s3000 camera. i accidently dropped it and now the camera lens got messed up everything else is working fine but is just the lens that is...

oh you silly boy,,,,,we have all done that in our time,,,what you have done is knock the lens gearing out of wack,,,well its busted for good,, as it may well be,,, but if you genteelly push on the lens when you turn off the carera it may help it to "jump" back into gear,,,but it may not!!!!
it may also help it if you stand the camera on its lens and turn it on and off a fuw times as well, once its back in the right place on its gearing it should be ok,,,,however you may need to have a camera shop try to fix it,,but thats very price and it could be cheaper to just buy a new camera,
just dont drop that one as well,,,,they brake easly?

Kodak m893IS is not turning on....the camera was dropped by accident but it wasn't dropped from high it was only like 2 feet...after it was dropped it worked fine for the next 5 minutes but then it turned...

You may have bent the camera's lens housing, which will require professional repair, but the problem you describe is frequently due to corroded battery contacts inside the camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a clean cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, clean the contacts at both ends of the batteries, and reinsert them in the camera. This cleaning cures the problem about 90% of the time, and I hope it works for you.

My Canon S3 lens will out out and then give me lens error message. Repeatedly pushing off button and it will eventually full retract. It was dropped in sand but worked fine for about 2 months after that....

You need to take your camera to the nearest service centre to get it back into action. Whenever there is such an accident (sand, water, fell off) you should take your camera immediately to the service centre.

Dropped fe- 230 camera in sand..spazzing out..help ASAP please

Borrow a friends camera or buy another.
The motorized lens assembly is contaminated, and
your only recourse is to replace the entire assembly.
It has very close tolerances and even replacing it is no guarantee that all the sand particles could be cleaned out of the camera body.
Sorry. No easy fix this time.

Lens focusing problem

Dropping a camera is no laughing matter.  I assume you have severely damaged the wide angle lens, and the only solution I have it to purchase another one.   Certainly if the front element fell out that is serious and there are probably other things wrong with the lens, and continued use of it could damage the camera body.   Just be more careful and chock it up to experience and buy a new lens. Sorry to hear about your accident.   Good luck.
