you can't directly blame to mother board. so first thing you can try is to reset your BIOS. to rewet the Bios you can locate the CMOS battery on your board and remove it for 10-20seconds . or you can see any jumper near the CMOS bateery and reset it. in most of the case mother board works when you reset the BIOS by doing the above process. And if you can arreage another RAM then you can try with other RAM. I hope it'll work for you.
Have you try troubleshoot with working monitor, display card or your matherboard and processor,
Usually no display problem occur becouse of one hardware between monitor, ram, motherboard, displaycard and can be your processor problems.
You can try troubleshooting one by one of your computer hardware to get problem occur
YAS IS GOOD YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR MEMMORY TI 1GB ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS GET THE EXACT TYPE OF WHAT YOUR MOTERBOARD IS USING eg IF YOUR MOTHERBOARD IS USING DD RAM GET 1GB DD RAM IF IT SD RAM YOUR BOARD USES THEN GET SD RAM. IT GONNA BE FINE WHEN YOU UPGRADE IT WILL PARFECT YOUR PC PERFORMANCE.
the graphic card is a plug and play device meaning as you install it, it is giving its resource and it starts working but you install yours and the motherboard beeps means
1. there was a change in the CMOS configuration which should not occur
2. the CMOS utility did not identify any graphic device
i think your graphic device is questionable it could not be good is the word.
