Just recently paid $836.00 for projector repair. Unit would not power ON, power indicator flashing 3 times. They said they replaced the DMD board. We asked to see the replaced part but they did not have...

If unit is working now, the repair is valid. Parts, like DMD are quite expensive and require core to return. Example: Main Board for Panasonic plasma TV cost $525+. When repair shop return a dud(core), they get $250 credit. Even some used parts, like light engine, require dud return(if you wish, of course) to get $50 back. So: now you know how it works. I won't blame them for immediate dud return, due to high cost of the part(s).
Especially for Panasonic. For the boards they require prior authorization. I've got into that mess couple times. Hope, that repair worked out well for you. If not, I might give you a second opinion, but I need to see and open your projector. It's up to you.
Sincerely,

This unit will go into standby if no signal is present for a few minutes. Pressing any button will return it to normal operating conditions.
Hope this helps.

My projector pt-lb10e cannot start up, the standby light is on but when try to press the on button nothing works. How can i reset the projector?

The "CONTROL KEY" may be set to "OFF".
In order to set the "CONTROL KEY" to "ON" without using the remote control unit, keep holding down the ENTER button on the projector and press the MENU button for more than 2 seconds.

What does it mean when that blinking green light turns to orange one in lp 350?

Hi
This would be "Standby"
When you press standby, the display and audio turn off and a blank screen is displayed for 15 minutes.
You can change the amount of time the projector stays in standby mode; see “Standby Time” on page 27 for details.
The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.
• If you press standby again within 15 minutes, the projector returns to normal operations immediately. The LED changes from orange to green.
• If you press standby again after 15 minutes, there is about a 60 second delay before the lamp turns back on. The LED flashes green while the lamp is re-lighting.
• If you don’t press standby again, the lamp turns off after 15 minutes. The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.

I hope these help

Panasonic PTAE 900U with new lamp and counter reset shut off

Reseat the lamp.  I had a similar problem.  Replaced the lamp and everything worked for about 3 hours.  Then, turned the projector off.  Next morning, when I turned it on, nothing.  Stanby/On light flashed green for a minute then the lamp light came on and the projector went into standby.

Blub goes out during use.

Most fans have a sense line to detect the fan is working properly, Possible the sense circuit has failed. The unit should not start if it thinks the fans are not running. Possible thermal problem with the sense circuit, since your unit starts up then stops.
