Question about HP Compaq FP 7317 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
Power up the computer then check num lock led on keyboard when you press num lock key if its led show on and off then your cpu gives display to monitor then make sure vga cable from monitor from monitor to cpu is attched properly to cpu.
Then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in "enable vga mode " then go to display property set screen resolution to 10248768 then apply and ok.
But if num lock key is contstant and it not gives display when you press F8 then you need to open cpu cabinet then reattch the RAM memory then pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minuntes then remove pci cards if any.
If you have vga card then reattch in to motherboard.
make sure motherboard is not gorund with cabienet.
If you seen any display like boot post bios screen then make sure harddrive is recognized in bios.
When you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or 'del" key to enter in bios.Reattch both connection to harddrive then check.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
