Question about Car Audio & Video

2 Answers

I purchesed this head unit new around xmas of 08. My husband installed it and everything was fine. No noise or any other problems. We bought a new car and transferred the stereo system over to it. Now, anytime the cd player is going to the next song or when the car is turned off, there is noise. When the cd is changing tracks, the noise is like that of the player itself but comes through the speakers. When the car is turned off, there is a loud pop through the subs. My husband is not a novice when it comes to car audio so I know everything has been done right. We switched out the head unit with a Panasonic CQC8413U head unit and the noise is gone. The only problem is that the alternate head unit is for my step-daughter's car and is spoken for. My Kenwood is not that old and we think the problem has to be within the unit itself. Are you aware of any issues surrounding this receiver? My car that we were trying to install it in is a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible. Maybe an issue in the dash with interference? Please help. My husband is frazzled over this whole deal as he has never had such an issue that he could not solve. Thanks.

The head unit that is giving off noise is a Kenwood KDC-MP335.

The easiest way to fix this problem is with a noise filter or a ground loop isolator. this will take the buzzing away and you won't get the noise from the stereo.

X75 My color won't work. Black is fine. I installed a new one at Xmas and it worked fine. I hardly printed anything.. Yesterday the test page with peacock showed no blue and everything came out yellow. ...

run the print head cleaner tool using the lexmark software. since you hardly used the color the print head nozzle is dried up and needs to be clean.
run the print head cleaner atleast 5-10 or more times as needed.

Had a new battery installed,

you need to contact the person you bought the car from. there is no way around the code i know of, unless you try random codes or contact the manufacurer and plead with them your case. it would be much easier to just contact the person from whom you bought the car.

Ok this problem is killing me...

maybe the speaker is bad

First try one thing, switch the rca jacks around and see if the other speaker stops working this time.

If so the problem is in the rca jack or head unit.

If the same speaker is still not working, the problem will be the speaker, you will have no other options left since you changed amplifiers and checked all wiring.

Let me know if this helps you
