The home position switch from the angle of the front display is not pushed correctly. the problem is mechanical.
If you glue a little tip of plastic between the actuator and the homeposition switch, your problem is history.
In my case, a tip of a little tiewrap did it.

How do I replace the ignition switch

The ignition switch is located on the side of the steering column under the dash. Take off the wire harness then remove the screws that mount it to the column. There is a wire rod that comes from the key cylinder that fits in a hole in the switch. Wiggle the switch a little to get the rod out of the old switch. Pay attention to where the rod connects to the switch and reassemble the new switch to the column but don't tighten the screws just yet. Plug in the wire harness to the new switch and turn the key to the ACC position. Turn on the radio to make sure the new switch really did turn on to operate the radio. If it didn't move the switch by hand until the radio comes on. Tighten the screws and then start the car. You're done.

I keyed the mic on my galaxy 959 and nothing happened. transmit light didn't come on, needle didn't move, nothing happened. It's like the mic isn't plugged in. I replaced the mic, didn't help. ?????

You might have it flipped to SSB instead of AM on one of the front mounted switched. It's the switch right under the freq. counter.

The switch right above the volume needs to be in the power mode, and the GNF switch needs to be in the CB mode-not on PA.

I have a Intertherm heating and air conditioner it is a Manufactured Home. The furnace model number is E2EB-017HA. When you flip the switch to heat and move the control arm up nothing happens. You can go...

When you turn the on/off switch to on you are turning on the "fan switch" and the blower motor is only coming on. When you turn the switch to cool and move the tempature control lever down you are turning on the air conditioner...So it sounds like your heater is not working. Is the heater electronic ignition or does it have a pilot? If it has a pilot the heater may not be working because the pilot is out and will need to be lit. If it is electronic ignition you will need to inspect the unit to determine what component is faulty. Could be the igniter, gas control valve, ect. Verify that gas is not shut off to unit at line valve and gas control valve on unit.

Everytime i turn my engine off i have to input the code for my cd player how do you set it

Did you fit the radio yourself? Or did it come with the car?

Normally each radio has two 12v supplies - one permanent, and one switched with the ignition. The first keeps the 'memory' - radio stations and security codes, the second provides the power to run the unit. It could be that your permanent live is connected to a car live that only comes on with ignition.

Check to make sure that you have a permanent live when the unit is switched off, and your keys are not in your ignition. If you don't then you need to find one.

KDC-X869 Face Flips Halfway, Unit Turns Off

I have worked on many of these radios and there is a lever that contacts switch to determine position of face this lever wears out and switch does not operate properly causing radio to lose its mind. This is usually the cause of this failure unless flip gears have been damged somehow. contact kstahl65@att.net for additional info

Stays on even if HU (CDA-9833) is off

It is possible that the SIR unit stays powered as long as the red wire is powered, since it is normally connected to a switched source. To test this, disconnect the red wire or move it to a switched source (you could even add a switch on the wire and flip it manually). If the battery stays healthy after that, then the red wire being constantly powered is the problem. Otherwise, it is possible there is a problem with the Ai-NET cable connected to the SIR unit.
