Question about Symantec Norton Internet Security 2009 OEM

Norton 16.8.0.41 will not open, tried double clicking and right click and open, nothing, icon in tray missing also, only noticed it today.

try going into your icon,,my computer,double click on it and it will open were you will see your cd player icon.right click on it and at the top it will say open click on that and your tray will open...or it should.

My password is english letters and i have changed to a difrent langauge and locked it


Click on your start icon in your tray.
Click Control Panel
Find your icon for regional and language settings (a globe)
Double click on this icon.
Open the tab for Regional Options (This should be open by default )
Set this option for English then apply.

or try pressing Shift + Alt + Right Arrow (directional arrow)

COMPUTER CRASHED I NEED TO RELOAD CD BUT I DONT HAVE ACCESS CODE


There are now several versions of the basic Futura software and AutoPunch available on the market. The most current is version 1.0.0.2. To determine what version of either software you have, you will find this information around the inside rim of the CD at approximately 4 o'clock. Before loading any of the Options into your computer, check the version and then follow the steps below. The following steps will update your software so that you will now have the latest 1.0.0.2 version of the basic program and all options.

To load base software 1.0.0.0 with AutoPunch 1.0.0.0 or base software 1.0.0.1 with Autopunch 1.0.0.1

  • You must use bobbin part number 085128. This bobbin is specifically designed for the Futura CE-100 and CE-200.
  • Load Base software (have machine set-up for embroidery with USB connected to both machine and computer - machine turned OFF)
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Close program and turn off the machine
  • Install Autopunch and leave the CD in the tray
  • Download appropriate update for Windows Version from the Futura-Support.com updates and save to desktop
  • Double left click on the desktop download icon to install update
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Type in the Access code from Autopunch jewel case and then left click on the check mark to open program

  • Place Autopunch CD in tray but CANCEL Installation Wizard
  • Download appropriate update for Windows Version from the Futura-Support.com updates and save to desktop
  • Double left click on the desktop download icon to install update
  • Turn on Futura Machine and double left click to open the program
  • Type in Access Code from Autopunch jewel case and then left click on check mark to open program

To load base software 1.0.0.1 with Autopunch 1.0.0.1 with Hyperfont 1.0.0.2 or Photo Stitch 1.0.0.2

  • Load Base software (have the machine set-up for embroidery with USB connected to both machine and computer - machine turned OFF)
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Close program and then turn off the machine
  • Install the Autopunch program and leave the CD in the tray
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Type in the Access code from Autopunch jewel case and then left click on the check mark to open program*
  • Close program and then turn off the machine
  • Download appropriate update for Windows version from the Futura-Support.com updates and save to desktop
  • Double left click on the desktop icon to install update
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Close program and then turn off the machine
  • Install HyperFont program - leave CD in tray
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click to open program
  • Type in Access Code from HyperFont jewel case and then left click on check mark to open program*

  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click to open program

To load base software 1.0.0.2 and adding all Options - Hyperfont 1.0.0.2, PhotoStitch 1.0.0.2, Autopunch 1.0.0.2 and Cross Stitch 1.0.0.1

  • Install Base software (have machine set-up for embroidery with USB connected to both the machine and computer- machine turned OFF)
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Close program and then turn off machine
  • Install Autopunch program and leave the CD in the tray
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Type in Access Code from AutoPunch jewel case and then left click on check mark*
  • Close program and turn off machine
  • Install Hyperfont program and leave the CD in the tray
  • Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
  • Type in Access Code from HyperFont jewel case and then click on check mark*

  • Type in Access Code from Auto Cross Stitch jewel case and then left click on check mark*

* Must open the program after installing each Option with CD in tray and type in Access Code before installing next Option.

Internet explorer is not visible on desktop


Find a Missing Internet Explorer Icon in Windows XP
  • Step 1 Click the "Start" button. Click on "All Programs." Look for an icon called "Internet Explorer." Right-click the icon. Select "Copy" from the menu.
  • Step 2 Find a blank space on your Desktop and right-click on it. Select "Paste" from the menu. You should see a new icon called "Internet Explorer." Double-click it to make sure that it works.
  • Step 3 Open "My Computer" on your Desktop if you were unable to find the Internet Explorer icon in "All Programs." Double-click the "C:" drive. Double-click "Program Files." Open the folder named "Internet Explorer."
  • Step 4 Select the "iexplore.exe" icon and right-click on it. Choose "Create Shortcut" from the menu. Scroll down to the bottom of the window. Right-click the "Shortcut to iexplore.exe" icon. Click "Copy."

  • Step 4 Open the "{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}" key on the right side of the screen. Change the value to "0" to show the icon on your Desktop.

    Try uninstalling Norton by going to programs then look for its folder...there should be an uninstall icon then click to run...if you can not find it try the following:
    1. click start button
    2. click control panel
    3. double click Programs and Features
    3. look for norton, then double click to uninstall program....

    My printer will not print

    The computer icon is trying to tell you something, all you have to do is right click the icon and open it up or double left click it. Either way the software driver will usually tell you what is causing the problem.

    The 4 most common problems are;
    1. A paper Jam is present.
    2. The ink /toner cartridge is missing or empty.
    3. A cover is not closed all the way
    4. No paper is in the input paper tray.

    A security issue is detected on my laptop after installing norton antivirus online


    it sounds like it's just a matter of updating your antivirus...
    installing an antivirus is the first part.. the second part is updating the antivirus (and keep it that way) to be fully protected and avoid security warnings

    right click on the antivirus icon on the system tray and look for an "update"option.. or just open it by double clicking on the icon and look for "liveupdate" or something similar.

    Auto protect for norton is off and cant switch it on


    hai,
    try right click the norton tray icon and select autoprotect
    if its not working open the configuration dialog box and there make the appropriate change.
    if nothing work, u have to go for a reinstallation

    If you don't have speaker on Icon Tray (bottom right), means you have missing drivers for your Audio and if so you can't here any adio from your system. To find out whether you have missing driver or not, follow these steps:

    1. Click on Start -> Control Panel
    2. Double Click on system icon
    3. Click on Hardware
    4. Click on Device Manager.

    Now the device manager window will appear. See carefully in the components list, if there is any component with yellow mark, then you have missing driver.

    If you have missing driver then after installing the correct driver will fix your problem.

    If you don't have driver tell me your manufacturer and model no. I will give you the link or you can find on the manufacturer's site.

    I have an open account with you at this time. I have just replaced my old commputer with a new one, and Im trying to download the norton anti virus protection to it. I am unable to do this as I get told...


    Hi, if you want to install new norton anti virus you may delete all existing norton anti virus in the present pc and then install new norton so that no conflict your installation.
