Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

It says its protected by a password authentication

If it is a Bios or Boot Password try " admin " , if it's just a windows or netware login , download a copy of Hiren's Boot CD
http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/
Burn the disc image to a blank cd & boot the Dell Laptop with the Disc , hit enter to load from the disc , then use the proper bios tool or password reset tool .

Greetings - Regarding Win 7 machines connecting to Netware 4.11, you need to setup TCP/IP on the server and connect Windows 7 via TCP/IP.

Regarding print servers, the tried and true HP Jetdirect Print Server series are well supported with Netware 4.11

Hi,

ProLiant ML 110 server series does not supports windows XP. It Support only the below OS.

  1. Windows 2000
  2. Windows 2003
  3. NetWare 5.1
  4. NetWare 6.0
  5. NetWare 6.5
  6. RHEL 2.1 (32 Bit)
  7. RHEL 4 (32 Bit)
  8. RHL 9
  9. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8
If you want to force this hardware to support windows XP, then download windows 2003 drivers which is equivalent to XP; but not the same as XP.

Netware Authentication Failure

There is a Windows XP service that often causes this problem, called "Routing and Remote Access". (C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs )

Try to disable this service and see if your problem disappears.

  1. Right-click "My computer"
  2. choose "Manage"
  3. look for "Services" (you might have to expand "Services and Applications")
  4. scroll down to "Routing and Remote Access"
  5. left-click "Routing and Remote Access"
  6. click "Properties"
  7. click (in the General tab) "Startup type" and select "Disabled".
  8. If the service is running, select "Stop".
  9. Try to log in again or (better) restart the machine and you should be good to go.

If you have any more questions or this did not solve your problem, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.
