Thanks for using FixYa. E41 error means
Main Relay (RY1) or Power Relay1 (RY2) failure. It can also happen due to loose lead wires of relay, primary or Monitor S/W failure or loose lead wires of Primary or Monitor S/W. You’ll need to check the Main Relay (RY1), Power Relay1 (RY2) Primary S/W and Monitor S/W and replace if defective. Also check if lead wires are loosened and connect firmly if loose. Check the circuitry and replace if defective. H.V.Trans input power sensing circuitry failure can also cause this. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Exterior of oven , top and both sides gets very hot to touch, when cooking +- 10 minutes or more the last couple of days; no Error ( E41/42/45 or 47 are being displayed. Fan is normal, functions: OK

There could be food or oil buildup around the door frame which will absorb some of the radiant and microwave energy whilst cooking. Give it all a good clean and see if that helps. If everything else is working properly, it may be a problem with the cooling fan. Microwave ovens have a "stirrer fan" inside the roof or rear of the cooking area to disperse the microwaves and some convection / microwave ovens also have a cooling fan which assists in dissipating heat within the cabinet.

The 5E error indicates a problem with the key pad. The microwave computer believes there is a short between the key pad and the central board. You may be able to temporarily reset the error by unplugging the microwave for at least 30 seconds. (In some cases, tripping your circuit breaker may be an easier way to disconnect the power to an over the range microwave.)

Some people have been able to solve the code by cleaning the contacts in the wiring harness. The recommended solution is to replace the assembly control panel (switch membrane, window and control panel). See for a parts diagram and some prices.

Since microwaves have capacitors that store significant amounts of energy, you may want a professional to take apart the microwave and do the repair.

I hope this helps.

Main oven wont heat

Thank you for your post, Allison! I understand that you are having concerns with your microwave oven heating. This could be because of several factors, such as: loss of power to the microwave, a displayed error message or a faulty magnetron. Please ensure that your household power circuit breaker is not tripped and that your appliance is not displaying an alpha-numeric error message or code on your control panel. If you notice an error message please comment and let me know so that I can help you further. Otherwise, if you do not notice any errors and have sufficient power you are more than likely experiencing a faulty magnetron. The magnetron is the sole component that allows the microwave to heat. This is not a typical do it yourself repair so I recommend contacting a professional to confirm this and complete any necessary repairs.

E41 and does not work

If your microwave is displaying an error code cycle the power to the microwave by either unplugging the unit, or cycling the circuit breaker.

If the above suggestion does not work, and the error code returns, your microwave will require service.

I have samsung 1850w CM1929 Microwave it shows e41 and does not work.

if you have not plugged out the microwave...then do so now.the trick is that when you plug out the microwave it will reset the microchip.after you have plugged it out ....then you plug it back in after about an hour.if that does not work then it is time to look for a tech to repair your microwave.the problem is that the diode or the cap is bad.
