Hi,
Sounds like you have a thre phase service...being that you have two black and one red you have a 240/120 delta service. this means that you can get 240 across either of the black wires and the red wire. So you just have to pick which black you want to hook to and then hook the other wire to the receptacle to the red wire, The third wire just needs to get grounded either on the white or the green/bare wire in your servoce.

You need to find the hot leg and the nuetral leg . Hot is black and neutral is white . You need to make sure you have 120 volts between these wires cause some of the blacks could be switch leggs for the lights you talked about . Tie your recep. To those wht to wht and blk to blk .

Your oven is 2 phase 220 volt not sure about foreign electrical service. The stove requires 2 phase electric service, each leg impute can be no more than 135 volts. It requires 2 pole 60 amp service with no less than a 8 gauge 3 wire service line with ground. The pigtail on the stove is as follows, black wire 120 volt leg red wire the other 120 volt leg the white wire is the neutral leg,(which is sometimes run to the ground block which incorrect but will work) the green wire is ground.

I doubt there is a fuse on the pigtail, it sounds like your black wire is grounded somewhere. Check black to red, if you get 120 or close to it, your black is shorted to ground.

Hi, I have the Cutler Hammer fusible ac disconnect 30 amp, my question is with the 10-3 wire from the fuse panel to the pullout do you only use the Black White and Ground and lay back the Red? Also, can...

If you use a white wire to carry a 120 Volt line it would have to be taped with either black or red tape both at the breaker box and your fuseable disconnect so the solution is to use the black and the red wire into your curcut breaker, the white and the bare ground both tie into the grounding post at the circut box and at the fuseable cut off, Yes the fuses are neccisary per code.. to eliminate a short or fault from traveling all the way back to the breaker box.. often times found inside the building the fusible pullout is attached to. check your local codes and regulations for more specific details.

Wire color scheme for alternator plug.

ok ric , now the tensioner , notice a 15mm bolt head on the tensioner pulley , put a wrench on that 15mm head and turn clockwise , that will unload the tensioner , install your belt according to the belt wrap picture under the hood , release tensioner , and you should be good to go . however ,,,,,
last thing , there are like 5 fuses involved in this circuit , 1.) a 120 amp fuse in the fuse block , left side of engine compartment , 2.) a 60 amp fuse in the same place as #1 , 3.) a 7.5 amp fuse in the relay box - left side of engine compartment , 4.) a 7.5 amp in the left side of dash fuse panel , and 5.) another 7.5 amp fuse in the same panel as #4 . sure is a very well protected circuit ..

good job

Altenator is not charging the battery

sir , the altenator has 3 wires at the connector correct ? a white/red , a green/white and a black , the white/red wire is involved with a 10 amp fuse to do with the charging meter / gauge , the fuse located behind left side of dash .. the green/white wire is is involved with 2 fuses , a 10 amp ECU fuse and a 25 amp Main fuse located at left rear of engine compartment main box , and the black wire is involved with a main 80 amp fuse at the main box also . both of these 2 wires end up at the positive side of the battery , please verify all these fuses are good . if they are indeed good , then open wiring would be next step verify continuity on black and the white/green wires . i would post a link to diagram but autozone repair info site is down at this time . if ya need more help , please ask .

Fuse blew replaced it and dryer won't work.

did you replace both fuses? there are 2 thirty amp fuses both are needed . if you can check voltage to the outlet that will eliminate an electrical problem and narrow it down to the dryer. If you have voltage to the dryer outlet, then I would look at the connections at the terminal block(where the cord connects to the dryer) then a meter would be needed to do much more testing.
