Question about Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player

Just exactly same problem !!
Constant orange light that turns red or green depending on which button you press. Won't turn on. Pressing "stop" button does not reset unit as suggestions on other fix-it sites.
I took it apart and checked the power supply.11.5 volts and 2.75 volts are supplied to the circuit.
Any idea what the problem is ??
Not sure, but I believe the 2.75 volts you have should be 5.0 volts.
May want to check capacitors on power supply.
The output connector on the supply may also be labeled with
the correct volatges for reference. COnstant orange light may be
indicating the +5v is low.
