K here's the thing. The weird wires for your safety brake, headlights, etc.

If you want to be able to use your player while driving, aka leave a movie playing and have the screen still work then ground those wires. You could either splice them into your ground wire or you can take and use the sheetmetal surrounding the head unit to ground them.

Oh and as for the reverse light wire. That one you will need to wire in if you're going to use the optional reverse camera that they sell separately.

Hope this helps, don't forget to click fixya! :)

Had extra wires not hooked up on my mp5720 jensen pink and brown any ideaes

the Brown wire controls the mute function on the aftermarket hands-free kit, Pink Parking Brake wire coming off the back of the unit. This is a safety feature that only allows you to view video while the car is parked. If you wish to bypass this the wire, then it does not need to be connected.

Well for the camper there are for wires for the lights i have green wire that is the right turn signal and hooked it up on the right side to the green wire which is the right turn signal in the car then...

well, the following is the generic (standard) wiring for trailer plugs......

tail (clearance) = brown
left hand turn = yellow
right hand turn = green
stop (brake) = red
electric brakes = blue
earth = white

now, you said that you had connected green, yellow and brown, and white. which is all well and good, but you did not mention a red wire which would be for the brake lights.

I hope this helps, get back to me with more info to assist you.

Brake and turn signal lights stopped working on my 1996 Ford E150

You might have cut a wire or it could have broken or disconnected. Try tracing the wiring where you hooked up the trailer you may find one broken or disconnected.

Sounds like it is a "safty hook" to use when saw is not in use ei... hang on work belt as you are between cuts.

Please rate.

Bypass the brake or hook it up

To make the unit work in a display cabinet

Put one side of the switch down to earth & the other to the parking brake sensor wire from the unit.

it will then assume the handbrake is on when the button is switched.

I do not recommend you do this on a driveable car ;)
