That depends on the model of your calculator.

Press 1 . 0 2 5 ^ 1 0 ENTER on a TI-83. If your calculator has an y^x key (that's y-superscript-x) use that instead of ^. If your calculator has an = key instead of ENTER, use that.

Trying to do this calculation. 6.67x10-11. the (-11) should be small numbers on the calculator. Cant get it to work.

Make sure you use the (-) key instead of the - key to enter the negative exponent. - subtracts one value from another, (-) signifies a negative value.

How do I enter values in scientific notation

Use the EE (Enter Exponent) key just above the "7" key. For example, to enter 3.1x10^4, press 3 . 1 E 4.

For negative exponents, make sure to use the +<>- key just to the right of the decimal point instead of the - key.

When I enter Sin(30)the answer is -.9880316241. This not correct. What should i do?

You have the calculator set up to do radians instead of degrees. I'm not that familiar with the TI-83 but I believe you should look for a key labeled DRG. This stands for Degrees, Radians, and, Grads. Push this key and then use the arrow keys to move from RAD to DEG and hit enter. Now enter Sin(30) and you should get 0.5.
