Booting Into Safe Mode on Windows 8

The trick is to hold the Shift button and mash the F8 key, this will sometimes boot you into the new advanced "recovery mode", where you can choose to see advanced repair options.

You will need to click on the Troubleshoot option.

Now select Advanced Options.

Now choose the Windows Startup Settings option, by the looks of things we were never meant to find Safe Mode.

Finally hit the Restart button.

Like magic, when your PC reboots you will be able to boot into Safe Mode from the familiar looking Advanced Boot Options screen.

select safemode with networking

go to driver site NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce 335 23 Driver WHQL
32 bit version

for the 64 bit
NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce 335 23 Driver WHQL

install in safe mode hope that works

Boot to Advance Boot Options by tapping F8 while booting your computer. Once you are in the Advance Boot Options menu, Choose "Repair Your Computer". That should initialize the startup repair. This should give you a headstart. Post here if you need further help..

My computer is in safe mode, dont know what to do to make it run normal again?

reboot the computer. Keep pressing F8 while it is rebooting to be presented with the advanced boot options menu. from here you can use the arrow keys to select start windows normally.

if you can't get the advanced boot options to come up by pressing F8, hold the power button while windows is booting to turn off the computer. Windows will sense that the PC did not boot properly and will display the advanced boot options menu. From here you can select to start windows normally.
