I need help to get access to send email with documents attached i doing directions and cant do anything

Here are the instructions to send an attachment with your email in G-Mail:

1) Log into your G-Mail account.
2) Select, 'Compose Mail'.
3) Look to the top of the page, See: 'To' > Under that see, 'Subject'.
4) Just under the word 'Subject, see - 'Attach a file'
(it will have a little paperclip icon in front of it)
5) Click on, 'Attach a File' and select the file or document you wish to attach with your email.
6) Compose your email and click, 'Send'

Your document will be sent with your email.

To send a document directly from Word as an email message, follow these steps: On the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Mail Recipient to send the document as the body of the message. Or, point to Mail Recipient (as Attachment) to send the document as an attachment to the message.

Why can't I attach a word document to send through my email? The function works when I use my work computer, but it doesn't work on my home computer.


Your email program controls attachments, usually you have to ask it to get an attachment, then browse the files on your computer for the word document. Unlike the office email which may allow you to send emails direct from Word.

Send as attachment email held in 2007 Outlook Outbox


It sounds like the attachment may be to large for her to send via email. Email applications have a size limitation on how large of an attachment you can send. I would try to take the file break it down into smaller sizes and send those as attachments to see if they go through. For aneasy test before going through the trouble of creating smaller files make a word document. Name it test write this is a test document on the document and save it so it has some content in it and see if she can send it. If she can its probably the attachment is too large to be sent and you need to send it in smaller file sizes.

Hi i own one of your printers and i have a problem, i cant scan some copies of my resume to my email box and send it to a company, i just cant scan these copies to my email,which after i have to send...


When you scan a doc to email, it will open either outlook express/Windows live mail or outlook and use that to send your email. If you have not configured either of these programs on your pc then it cannot send anything. the way around this is to scan the docs into your say My Documents/Documents folder and then attach them to your email as attchments.

You need to install the full feature software installed on the PC, you would have an option to configure Outlook from the Solution center, after you configure the Outlook on the PC and install the full feature software, you would get an option scan to email, using that option you can directly scan and attach it ti email directly....any clarifications please reply....

How do I scan a document to send as attachment on email?


Using either the controls on the front of the printer or the Canon software that comes with the printer, scan your document. This should open up a dialogue box on your computer showing the image/document you scanned. Save it to a convenient place on your hard drive. Open your email and click 'Attach', and navigate to the file where you saved the document. Double click it and it will attach to your email. Select a recipient and add text to the body if you wish, and then send! If you need more specific instructions, I would use the 'help' toolbar in the software that opens when you scan, and type a search phrase such as 'attach to email'. Hope this helps--

Send pic from email to diff email


You will need to locate where the file is stored on your system.

My guess is it will be in your default pictures folder. Which is usualy My Documents\My Pictures.

Once you have the name and location of the picture you want to send you will just need to browse to that file through mozilla and add it as an attachment.

welcome to the computer world. have fun with it and dont worry about breaking anything cause you cant really. if you scan the document the image will go to your computer so u can attach it and send it in an email.
