Question about Mitsubishi WD-62725 62" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
We did this and it helped with cleaning up the picture, but not the brightness. I guess we will replace the bulb again... or just get a different TV. Very frustrating. Never a Mitsubishi again, TV or anything else as their customer service is so bad. Effectively no help, no even a response.

Take the screen off by unscrewing all screws around back of tv. remove panel with a sticker that says " no user serviceable parts inside" remove both screws on each side of screen at bottom with black tabs. there will be 2 screws behind the panel with the sticker on it and unplug the front panel buttons connector. then clean the small mirror with very soft cloth maybe nice cotton t-shirt. be very careful not to scratch the face of the mirror. i would recommend ussing just the cloth but have found isopropyl alcohol to work well if you need to use any liquid.
