You can remove the end tip of the steam pipe and clean it dry milk can block hose. If you litlle steam pressure you can boil water in a glass and keep it allnight long so the dry dirt milk can be soften and the pressure of the same steam can spit all the dirt out so the steam hose can be clean again.

You can disassemble the steamer wand. Unscrew the cap and that will leave you with the male threaded portion sticking out of the wand. If you pull hard on the black plastic threaded portion, it will pop out of the stainess wand and you can clean the whole assembly. I had weak pressure but found that even with regular cleaning, dried milk built up and block the exit for the steam.

How to remove the back wall behind brew unit on miele cva 615?

The Brew unit present switch is located on the brew unit drive. On the 615 model not an easy feat - the top and back have to be removed as well as the electronics - the micro switch has an extension arm on it the can fall off if the brew unit hits it the wrong way - I am guessing that is what may of happened here

Hi My Miele Coffee System seems to have developed a problem where when i use the steam wand and then close the wand off steam still spits out for about 30 seconds. Is this something i can fix myself or do...

I have the later model (CVA 4070) and the setup is lightly different. I have not worked on your model however I think there are only two parts that need to be checked. 1. Steam Valve (located in door and part of the steam knob). This is the likely cause and the problem is that it's either dirty and can be disassembled and cleaned or it has worn parts inside that need to replaced. 2. Steam Solenoid (inside unit before steam heater). These generally block and thus result in lower pressure but perhaps this one is having trouble closing. If your technically minded I would disassemble steam valve in door and clean and inspect all parts then re-assemble. If this does not fix problem then replace any suspect parts in the steam valve. ie o-rings. Testing 2 is more complex. You could do this via the Service Mode. Please Note ... DO NOT WORK on this machine unless power plug is removed from mains socket. Regards

I have a Miele CVA 615 coffee system and the pump does not work. Miele wants $800 for the replacement part alone, and I read on the internet that the part is actually a SAECO pump. Does anyone know which...

Hi Saeco uses 2 different pumps in their machines. The most common is the Ulka EX5, and the other is the Ulka EAX5 The only difference is the wattage. EX5 is 41w and the EAX5 is 52w. Need to know what wattage your pump is.

Where can I buy a Miele CVA 615 Expresso Watertank?

Hi,

The only Miele spare parts are direct from Miele or through a Miele service agent. Have a look on the Miele website for your nearest Miele branch or service agent in your country.
I work for Miele and they only sell parts this way. if you call the Miele spare parts number off the website and tell them you have a cva615 they will be able to mail one to you.
Hope this helps.

Steamer backed up water pours out under machine

On the cva 610 and 615 the steamer valve gasket tends to wear. Causing the unit to leak. Your best bet it to remove the steamer valve, Looking at the knob stem there is a plastic pin you can press to remove the stem from the valve. Once removed there's a small o-ring on the stem. ( That's where it's leaking from ) replace the o-ring and the stem to be safe. Also take a look at the micro sw to make sure it doen't have any corrosion if so replace it. If not your on the road to recovery. Good luck
