Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
My wife started our Neptune Dryer, came back in the room to check on it and the dryer stopped spinning, I removed the door, removed the two 5/16 screws, lifted the top like a car hood and found the belt just loose in there, I am not sure how it goes back on correctly... Could you please direct me?
BELTS DON'T JUST FALL OFF THERE MUST BE AN UNDER LYING PROBLEM.WHEN YOU FIGURE THAT OUT TO PUT THE BELT ON GET ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES
REACH IN ONE ARM ON EACH SIDE UNDERNEATH THE DRUM WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND GRAB THE BELT (BE SURE ITS NOT TWISTED) WRAP IT AROUNG THE MOTOR PULLEY.
HOLD IT THERE, NOW WITH THE LEFT HAND PUSH THE TENSIONER PULLEY TOWARDS THE MOTOR
THE BELT SHOULD GO OVER THE MOTOR PULLEY FROM THE RIGHT SIDE. SO IF HOOKED UP CORECTLY THE BELT WILL GO DOWN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TUB-AROUND THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TENSIONER PULLEY TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MOTOR PULLEY THEN BACK UP THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DRUM
