NOT READING DISCS on ps3

Have you tried cleaning each disc and spraying your system with aerosol regularly?

The problem is that the lens of your ps3 is either dirty or weak that it can no longer read any disc, i advice that you get a lens cleaner to clean the lens of your game, if after cleaning, problem persist, replace the lens on your ps3 so that your ps3 can continue to function as it use to function before.

Replace the lens on your ps3 and you will see that it will start reading discs.

This is a common problem and in all likelihood is indeed the laser.

This problem is common with the PS3 and typical of a failure of the bluray drive. It can sometimes be resolved by cleaning the laser pickup lens but often the lens itself needs to be replaced.

i have got the same problem, you can either get a new blue ray lens and fit it yourself or give sony a ring and they will change your console for you.

take it back to the store and get them to fix it. I think the problem is the lasers are out of alignment as the same thing happened to mine.

there is no way that the blu-ray would just "stop working" what are the symptoms of your ps3? not reading specific discs? not reading discs at all?
