Do you mean no signal strength? Do you have an internal or external aerial antenna? Is the signal split between multiple TVs? You can look at and for the recommended antenna type and direction and available channels in your area. Antennaweb is very conservative in its advice (and won't list some channels). You should also check that you have no damage to your wiring. Part of my house was wired with twist-on connectors. These have come loose from the wire at the amplifier/splitter that lets us share the signal for two TVs. The crimp-on connectors have been damaged by our pets running through in other locations. Lightning damaged one amplifier/splitter a few months ago.

Indoor antennas are even harder to get a good digital signal.

If you have a satellite dish, that often means the dish isn't aligned correctly.

I hope this helps.

I have astron tv 14 inches. when i connect outdoor antenna the. tv screen turn black. no signal. no reception but when i disconnect the outdoor antenna it turn to blue screen.

blue screen means 'no signal' or 'signal level is too low' whereas black screen means that there's a signal. Check your antennae, do a factory reset to your unit and then try initial setup.

What is the video single output VHF FM UHF 12db

That sounds like the description of a broadband amplifier. It likely has "F" type (cable-coax) connectors and a power cord.
Commonly used to increase the signal level of TV cable to compensate for inserting a signal splitter, or in some cases to increase the signal level from an antenna, typically outdoor TV or FM radio antenna, so it is connected between the signal source (antenna, or cable) and receiver with antenna as input and receiver connected to the output of this little box. The gain (amplification) it provides is 12 dB, so the output is more than 3 times the input.

29 ltd weak on modulation

In the form of a question???? I am assuming you are hearing it on another radio or someone has told you it is quieter. A shorted coax is more likely wattage and range reduction. Proportionally reducing audio volume.......modulation. If you have only changed antenna it could be broken or could you have put the Teflon washer on the bottom of the mount rather than insulating the antenna from the mount during installation. That would result in a direct ground. Thank for reading my blither.....take care.

Herringbone RFI in nearfield from adjacent LCD TVset both on Analog/Digital 195 - 229Mhz.

Your problem is related to a low level input and a source of interference that is close by. Perhaps the problem could be resolved by the application of a better higher level signal delivered from a roof antenna through a good grade of RG6 coax cable to the input as coax will reject a lot of interference and at the same time deliver a more usable signal to the set. Antennasdirect sells good HD TV antennas and you may want to
consider a distribution amplifier if several sets are connect to the single antenna- I am supplying 4 TV off one antenna.

My Klh r3000 receiver is great for everything except picking up am or fm stations? I had an antenna attached, but the unit is in my basement, and I get no signals at all. What could I be doing wrong?

If the antenna is in a basement that is the problem - the fact that it is below ground means that no signals can get through.
Radio signals are blocked by buildings, large lumps of metal or other solid objects as well as strong magnetic fields (which can include electrical devices within the home).
To pick up good radio reception you will need an external antenna above the ground level - preferably as high as you can get it. Unless you get an omni-directional antenna like this one you will need to point the antenna accurately at the transmitting station (+ or - about 5 degrees) for FM. At a pinch you might get by with an indoor aerial but it needs to be above ground level (inside a roof would be best)
Good external AM Radio aerials are harder to find these days.

Tv suddenly shows no audio and no video for digital channles only yet all digital channles are detected durring the channel search

Sounds like you have a bad signal from the antenna or the cable. Unlike analog TV if the signal level drops below a certain level you loose the picture and sound completely. The fact that digital channels are detected during channel search does not mean they have a good signal. Try moving the antenna about.
