Question about Samsung SyncMaster 213T 21.3" LCD Monitor
You need to open it up first and look for bad caps (bulging top) in the power supply first then report back to what you see so we can guide you further, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors here due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

Your unit has bad caps in the inverter and the power supply. The bad caps in the inverter causes a mosfet to short out and this blows the inline fuses on the inverter. After the fuses blow, the power light will still go on but there will be no power going to the inverter. It is possible to repair this damage, I have fixed over 40 of this model monitor. You can find more info by searching this model on badcaps . net. I can be contacted there as user 'bluto'
