Burning video to DVD
I have no problems transferring video to pc from DV camera using Sonic MyDVD software loaded. When I go to burn to DVD+R disc the software cancels. I have searched for ways to check compatibility or configuration issues, but have been unsuccessful. Please help.

- I have tried two or three products since the PC was built in '04. I have always just moved on, but would like to get fixed once and for all.Is there a way to check the configuration, or software compatibility with the hardware (both of which were installed when the machine was built)?

not the software
its a hardware issue
most of the DVD burners are built in such a way that they are compatible for DVD - R only
when buying burners you must check that they are going to support DVD + R also
so try a different burner which will support DVD+R or use a DVD-R which is compatible with most of the burners.

hi there
have you tried using another software? software that stops or cancels within you trying to use it only indicates that there might be conflicts with other softwares installed on your computer.
i suggest you try installing another dvd burning software.
