Shiny carbon (black) face rides against shiny white (ceramic) face. Rubber boot around ceramic face sits in the pump recess to seal ceramic into recess. Do NOT touch the polished carbon or ceramic faces with your bare hands. Use a cloth or the cardboard disks to press the ceramic into place. Use a synthetic lube or water to 'grease' the fit to allow for easier installation.

You didn't state which side of the white ceramic faces the carbon, flat white or rubber captured.

2002 Lincoln continental leaking power steering fluid at the rack after replacing PS pump

The rack has outer seals, one on each side. Its possible that one of these seals has failed. OR, If not, hopefully the technician who replaced the pump might not have properly tightened one of the hoses going to the rack, or he didn't use a good o-ring on it.

Where can I get rebuild kit for the pump of my Aker swirlbath model CT26060B0? The seal is leaking at motor shaft end of pump.

That is great, that you posted a picture of the motor....
but unfortunately the motor does not have a seal. It is the wet end that is connected to the motor which makes a pump, and that has the mechanical shaft seal.
if you remove the cover of the wet end, and expose the impeller, then remove the impeller, and expose the shaft seal, we would be able to assist you better. A picture of the wet end and post it, will greatly assist as well.
unfortunately the information that you provided, although very much appreciated, really does not assist. Because the manufacturer of the tub, can use a variety of different vendors for the pump. But,...
if your tub came with a serial number? You can contact the manufacturer and they may have records as to what pump was used on your specific unit. And then from there you would be able to know what pump or more specifically...which Wet End, was used and then you would be able to find out which mechanical shaft seal went into that pump or Wet End!

if I was to venture a guess: it is either a

Instructions usually come with the seal kit. The tricky part is getting the impeller off without damaging it. There is a flat on the other end, not easy to get at. Then it's just a matter of carefully removing the old seal and setting in the new one, cleaning the place where it goes.

I'm trying to find a seal kit for a Emerson spa pump Model #T55MWCCE-1208

The seals are specific to the Jacuzzi pump housing not to the Emerson motor. Most Jacuzzi pumps use the PS-200 or PS-201 seal (some have it listed as AS-20X) here is a Pump Seal Cross Reference.

Parts. i have a 408 seaspray model and the seal kit is bad. I need a replacement, but am having difficulty finding one. Does Coleman have the part for sale?

The XP2 pump uses a 5/8" shaft seal.
You can find them as under part numbers - PS-200, AS-200 or 92500150.

sounds like you need a new seal kit if it is leaking between the plastic pump housing and the motor. this seal kit is a model PS-200 and will run you about $30

PS-1000 Seal

The seal replacement on most pumps requires the capacity to separate the motor from the pump and to dismantle the wet end. Upon dismantling, it will become clear as to where the seal components are to be replaced. The spring half is found in the seal plate and must be knocked out and reinstalled with a properly sized driver and the ceramic seat is attached to impeller. Be careful not to damage the polished surfaces of seal. A light coating of a silicone or teflon based lubricant is most helpful ..
