Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
The nozzle cleaning utility is usually found in the Maintenance area of the printer Properties. I assume you are using Windows so go to Start>Control Panel>Printers>(select your printer icon)>Properties>Maintenance>select (deep nozzle cleaning) at least 3x, If the nozzles are clogged, this should clear the problem.
The other problem may be that the cartridges that you bought at Staples may not be up to specifications for your printer. If the printer was printing fine before you replaced the cartridges, I would suspect the replacement cartridges. If they are aftermarket or reloaded cartridges I would try using new OEM cartridges.
Let me know if your problem goes away after trying either of the above solutions. Thanks.

I suggest running the cartridge cleaning process. Sometimes you have to do it 3 or 4 times depending on what brand printer you own. If after you run the cleaning process a few time and nothing improves, I would say that you have a bad cartridge. Especially if you purchased an off brand ( like office depot or staples) If you are using factory cartridges, chances are, but not 100%,that it is not the cartridge. Also depending on how empty you got your old cartridge. If you ran it completely dry until it was no longer printing, then definitely, run the cartridge cleaning process a few time and don't give up, it should work and if it doesn't, don't hesitate to return the new cartridge you recently purchased. Good Luck

According to your problem you can't print properly with your printer.
First check your printer cartridge is not blank. If any cartridge is blank then it may happens.
clear the cartridge head.
Cartridge may need alignment. Go to the printer preferences and select the Ink cartridge alignment.
You can reinstall the driver also.
Use dry and proper size of paper which is supported by the printer.
