Question about HP Designjet 5500 (42 in.) InkJet Printer
I have Designjet 5500, My files are getting shrunk about 1in all the way around? Not sure why? I've check all my settings? Not sure if it's the printer settings or something to do with the communication between my computer and printer.
Because the 5500 does not print to the edge of the paper it will auto shrink the image to fit the paper ( a 36 inch wide image will shrink to 35.45" when 36" paper is used). Your image will need to be at least 0.55" narrower than the width of your paper to avoid this. so: Crop the image if you can, or use wider stock.
