Place the back of watch back in place. If it still doesnt work, I would say it is the wrong battery. There are so many different types of batteries, you need to make sure you have the correct battery.

My watch lens is getting blurd since i replace the battery.. why its getting blurd? Cnt see the dgital numbers.. pls help me to solve it!! Any idea?

Sounds like when they replaced the battery they tore the rubber gasket between the watch and the back plate. This allowed moisture to get in the watch and cloud the lens. Take it to a watch repair shop and they can fix this for you.

The watch is not running after replacing the battery, the stop watch part is running.

It could be that the battery has a poor contact. Try cleaning the battery with surgical spirit and avoid handling its faces.(hold the edges).

Clean also the watch contacts.

How to replace watch batteries on a seiko quartz watch

Replacing batteries is best left to the professionals. Most watches are sealed against moisture and an incorrectly fitted back may result in moisture getting in.

It is always best to go to a watch shop that sells the make of watch you have, since special tools may be required. If your watch is expensive, then you are taking a risk that you may do something wrong.

New watch is losing 5 to 15 minutes a day

This could be that the battery is slow. Newer swiss watches have a indicator in the movement of the watch that makes the sweep second hand skip every few seconds to indicate that the battery is slow. On regular japan made watches the watch just simply starts slowing down. Your watch could be new but the battery in it could have a long shelf life.

For sure it is time to replace that old capacitor and replace it with the latest solution that uses a Lithium Ion battery. Find a good experienced repair person to do this for you. I do this daily and I am a Certified Master Horologist/watch repairman.. Ron at TimelyWatchRepair.com

Try replacing the battery.. Did you use Paypal... if the battery doesn't fix it... Contact the seller... ask for a refund (UNLESS - it said "as is - no warranty") .. then Use Paypal's services to get your money back
