Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
The left hose on the supply spigot is usually the hot. You can turn it on to a drip and see if it get hot.
Because it can be different try this on the washer.
Connect the water inlet valve wires and watch the valve when you put the wash temp selector on hot and cut the washer on. You should be able to see which valve moves. That is the hot. You don't have to turn the water on for this. It doesn't matter which hose from the washer you connect. Just make sure each one will easily reach the valve.
