If it is a condenser dryer, then no venting is required.
If it is a conventional dryer, then it is adviseable to fit a vent, but not imperative.

Kenmore refrigerator not cold enough, vent frozen

Check to see if the damper is stuck. There should be a vent from the freezer to the refrigerator. This can go bad and ice will form in the vent. The return vents will also probably be blocked when this happens requiring a complet defrost of the refrigerator after replacing the damper.

Does a Maytag gas stove model # CRG9700BAL have to be vented. Im replaceing a stove that quit working with this one and it has no vent, but my old one did.

Old gas stoves were designed to be vented out. the newer stoves vent out the top at the back of the top panel. You may still need to have some kind of vent in the kitchen either a ceiling vent van or a range hood. At the very least a window in the kitchen. You may want to check with the local building codes about how to vent the stove and the requirements.

Clicking noise when in the vent when I put the vent on the feet area and past that towards windshield vent. There is no noise when the vent is toward you and you/floor vent.

The Vent Mode Actuator and its gear that operates the directional door is making the noise. Either the gear is stripped or the door is stuck or the actuator is defective. These parts are hard to get to and will require a mechanic to diagnose.

I just bought it and delivery man said he could not install it because my vent out of the roof is only 3 inches. Can I just use aluminum tape to secure the vent hose?

Local code determines the minimum size for dryer vents. Often this is determined from the manufacturer's requirements for the appliance. As you may have guessed, this is pretty much the standard for dryer manufacturers.

If you were to "adapt" the dryer's 4" pipe down to your home's existing 3" pipe, you would reduce the pipe's area from 12.6 sq inches to just 7.1 sq inches (radius squared x 3.1415). That's nearly HALF the required area that is required. Your clothes dryer will suffer. Drying times will increase dramatically as there will be less air flow. Electric / gas usage will increase due to the longer running times, and there could be significantly more heat inside the dryer that could be a fire hazard.

Don't do it. Either invest in the correct size dryer vent, or use another venting method instead of reducing the pipe size.

I know it's not what you wanted to hear - but I hope this helps. Please rate my reply - thank you.

Can the MMv5208w microwave oven be vented into the room? Or does it require outside venting?

alot of these units can just be vented right out front grill of unt. outside would be alot better so that the odors are not being smelled indoors but the fan housing can actually been changed to blow up or you can make it blow out the front grill requireing no venting at all...hope this helps you out good luck

Why vent hole has been provided on the venting pipeline of pressure relief valve.

A vent hole is required on a pressure relief valve to allow excess 'dangerous' fluid or gas to escape as required in a controlled manner normally via another pipe.

Can you vent the Rinnai 551F vertically through ceiling?

This unit can be vented through the roof but requires a specialized flue system-do not use an existing flue connection. Call a contractor - have them check and see if the unit can be modified to a vertical flue- it will require the existing piping to be replaced--Not a job for a do-it yourselfer

Does the Frigidaire FAC 126P1A need to be vented?

It must be installed in a window openeing or through the wall.
A load bearing wall is no problem.
Cutout the opening larger than the unit and install a header in the wall cutout.
