Question about Vacuums
Almost certainly there's a broken wire within the electric flex. This usually happens where there's most bending and pulling - that is, where the flex enters the machine or where it enters the plug. You'll need to get someone to either shorten the flex or fit a new one.
Beware that messing with electrics is potentially dangerous, so don't do it yourself unless you are confident you know what you're doing! Good luck!
