Question about Apple iPod touch
You have to download and install the latest Itunes. If you already have itunes installed, uninstall it first. Install the latest itunes. Make sure itunes installs to the default location.
after you install itunes restart the computer.
Now once the computer restarts, start Itunes, then plug in the ipod.
If you still have an issue, here is the problem. Apple goofed somewhere. As well, apple has offered no update to fix this problem, and when they do it will come in the latest version of itunes.
If you still cannot activate it, here is how you can get around this horrid situation induced by apple dropping the ball.
Go to your local Apple store and use one of their demo mac's to activate your ipod touch and then take it home and you should be able to sync it to your computer.
